Reminds me of the bakeries up in the Northeast, very cozy. They have wonderful baked goods, a little on the sweeter side for me. But we do go there a couple times a week.

We stopped in for our first visit with the Grandkids to get a couple goodies to go. It was later in the day, so we are looking forward to get back again before they sell out of the more popular items. Very tasty treats!

It’s everything you hoped it would be. Fast seating on a Saturday morning and friendly services.I got a giant ham & cheese baked croissant AND a huge cinnamon roll for *under $3Go here.

Good turkey sandwich and good serviceCame to try this place as drove past it a while back.. actually wanted to try the breakfast but missed out on the time as they only service breakfast from 7 - 11 am only. Wound up ordering the turkey, Swiss crossiant sandwich I must say everything was pretty fresh and good actually..Service was pretty good as well however was surprised as this place was still busy after 1pm during the week day. Overall price wise and taste wise pretty good..would recommend

Great local joint that most will highly appreciate. I'll be back for more the next time I'm on that side of town. The pies there looked amazing. Service was top notch.

We are here every Friday morning and they are so nice here. The prices and the quality of food and pastries cannot be beat. Skip the donut shop and come here for the best cinnamon rolls, muffins, sausage rolls and whatever the thing is with the BBQ stuffed inside.

Excellent food, loved the Reuben and potato salad. A bit dated but perfect experience. Have a red velvet cake to sample later that looks and smells divine. Might change to five stars after that.

5 star food. 3 star service. I asked the waitress. older female. if we could push another table over for our party. She said, "you have plenty of room." and just dismissed me. She definitely could have been more courteous. When a colleague of mine asked for more napkins. She said, "They're right there. You've got plenty." Just rude. Food was great though.

One of the last old time great bakery. They have it all here. Cakes are delicious as are other items and staff is friendly and efficient. We enjoy going there time to time. #DerikLattig

Small town cafe atmosphere with home style cooking. Traditional country breakfast- similar to Sunday morning on farm. However, the service didn’t impress. Waited in line only to have the cashier help two people on each side of me. Can’t speak of the quality of the dessert since I never got served. Would have given more stars if not for the service.

This is a popular bakery and restaurant. We enjoy their sweets, but came for lunch. My Reuben was very good. Took half of it home. My husband's philly cheesesteak was surprisingly spicy. There were no grilled onions & peppers, but it was a decent size.

Couldn't have been better. Far exceeded expectations. Service was great food was even better and the dessert was so good I'll be ordering pies for Thanksgiving there.

I have ordered, picked up and eaten the pies from the Swiss Pastry Shop three different times and they have never disappointed. Their pies are amazing and pretty cheap for how great they are and the size you get! The presentation of the pies are great too. I go out of my way to get these! Friendly service every time too!

This place is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a good supper, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. best and diverse food and a large menu.professional staff, and good vibes. In addition to that, the bill is modest. I sent my friends to this place with pleasure.

Great food served with warm, friendly service. They made my wedding cake in '95 and got at least 3 more orders that I know of from people who attended as a result. It's still the best cake I've ever eaten.

I love this place, my granny used to take me a lot when i was younger. The homemade breads and pastries and the food is delicious.

Desserts here are always amazing, but I went for lunch for the first time. I ordered the hottie melt and it was absolutely great. The patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, but the Star was the bacon jalapeño marmalade. It was absolutely amazing. I want to put it on everything I eat.

The beef has amazing flavor. Chocolate cream pie is memorable.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. As good as their pastries are, their burgers are even better. I'm currently eating my way thru the pastry menu and can verify that the strudel, sticky buns, and cannoli are among the best I've had. Anywhere.As far as the burgers go, I can't understate how good they are. I usually get their weekly specials. So, perhaps the menu burgers are merely great. I can't speak to these. Kids had: Hot dogs and traditional grilled cheese that when paired with the fresh fruit. We had: the burger of the week or schnitzel.Wrap-up: This place is truly a can't miss.

Order whatever Hans has on the specials board: last week it was pecan-smoked pork shoulder in a sandwich he named THE HILLBILLY HAND GRENADE: half a pound of intensely smokey pork shoulder shaved thin with serrano bleu cheese coleslaw on top and a house made bun. Always get a burger and the Ft Worth cheesesteak. And some of the best pie anywhere. The Black Forest Cake is legendary🍨 ❤🍔

Had a great Swiss Dip! But the green chili queso was amazing! The desserts are out of this world!

Great sandwiches, however the sides sucked (the soup was delivered cold and my “side salad” was just two slices of tomato on lettuce). As well the service sucked, and I felt bad that the waitresses all seemed stressed out. I wanted two glasses of water, which meant I had to wait for the ice to melt instead of asking for another. The building is too small as well to accommodate the crowds, and I know the business makes enough money to at least renovate the dumpy bathroom or just relocate.

This place constantly delivers. They have good food for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when the place is loaded.

I regularly come grabbing some food in here. I enjoyed the rapid customer service and well made dishes. 5 stars.

Just thinking about this place can make my sweet tooth go crazy!I've been going here for more years than I can admit and they continue to please.They have assortments of every kind of pastry you can imagine, plus they have a breakfast and lunch menu. They also have a dining room with the most attention servers ever - never pushy, but you'll never have an empty cup - ever.Their location is fairly central in Fort Worth and extremely easy to get to. They're also family friendly and very affordable.

Best pies in town. Black Forest Cake is the a FW legend and always great. Only eaten a full meal in the restaurant once, but was very good.

Sweet creme puffs! Yummy! Many items they use almond flavoring. Pretty cakes, nice fruit pies, strawberry cake was moist & good. They will slice their display cakes for you! 1 slice pie1 slice cake 1 creme puff1 bar cookie4 tea cookies $16.00I will go back.

Black forest cake is a family celebration tradition! I could eat an entire sheet cake of it myself! The staff are usually rushed and bustlingwhich only serves to show how popular a dining experience as well as a bakery this place is. 100% a Fort Worth cherished institution.

Amazing! Loved all the food we had. The chocolate cupcake was the best I've EVER had. Swiss dip was to die for. My dad loved the sauerkraut ans the chips were served warm. Will definitely be back!

Customer service is so poor and why was my table the only one that had to go to the front to pay but other tables they did the payment at their table. And if you are going to do that maybe you should have a line for people buying the pastries and one for people leaving the restaurant. I took 20 mins to get my check and then wait in line to pay. And then you have the nerve to be cheeky and say wow it’s so busy all sarcastically. Food wasn’t that great either and the cake was dry not worth it.

Other than the black forest cake (which is fantastic), everything else I have tried is just okay (including the much loved Fort Worth cheesesteak sandwich). The restaurant generally seems busy for breakfast and lunch, so it has a following, but I prefer other places.

This cake is one of my favs! Brasil was the only place a had this type of cake with such quality! Black Forest it’s the perfect cake ! It’s the right combination of meringue, cake and chocolate! It’s delicious!

Their cheeseteak was so yummy and has so much flavor. The sausage was ok, i think its good with beer. Their fudge cake is so moist and the frosting is really decadently good. I tried 3 items in their bakery and pastry and its all good.
